The brief

Amy Ann Living is a luxury outdoor furniture brand. Its timeless pieces come in aluminium, teak and woven materials and are made for private homes, hotels, hospitality venues and yachts. They needed an online store that feels as refined as the furniture, helps visitors browse by collection and material, and supports a membership programme with 20% off and free worldwide shipping.

The challenge

Outdoor furniture is a considered purchase, and the range is large: more than twenty named collections across three materials and several categories. The store had to make that range easy to browse without losing its calm, editorial feel. It also had to serve private buyers and trade clients, promote the membership, and collect emails for the catalogue download.

What we did

01 Research
We looked at premium outdoor furniture and interiors brands to see how they organise a large range by collection and material, and what buyers want to know before ordering: materials, finishes, real projects and delivery.
02 Direction
We shaped the navigation around how people shop: Collections, Aluminium, Teak, Woven, Materials, Design, Story, Catalogue, Membership and Trade. The homepage moves from hero and membership offer to Lounge, Dine and Relax categories, materials, bestsellers and projects.
03 Design
A restrained, luxury look with plenty of white space, dark type and large photography of Mediterranean gardens and finished projects, so the furniture stays the focus. Member and regular prices sit side by side on product cards.
04 Build
We built the store on Shopify as a responsive site, with collection and product templates, a catalogue download with email capture, newsletter signup and membership promotion across the site.
