Fiverr Pro is a curated tier of Fiverr with freelancers who were vetted by Fiverr’s own team for experience, portfolio quality and client feedback. Eligible orders from Pro freelancers come with a satisfaction guarantee: you can request a refund within 14 days of completion. It costs more than a regular gig, so it pays off for business-critical work like a brand identity or a website.

We have been a Fiverr Pro studio for years and sell on Fiverr since 2014, so we see Fiverr Pro from the seller side every day. This review explains what the Pro badge actually means for you as a buyer, and when it is worth the higher price.
What is Fiverr Pro?
Fiverr Pro is a premium, curated part of Fiverr. Freelancers have to apply, and Fiverr’s in-house team reviews them before they get the Pro badge and can open Pro gigs. Pro gigs are labeled with the badge, and you can filter search results to show only Pro services.
Pro freelancers pay the same commission as everyone else. The difference is the vetting and the protection on your order, not a different fee model.
How Fiverr Pro vetting works
According to Fiverr, Pro applicants are reviewed on:
- Skills and experience in their specific field
- Portfolio quality and consistency of past work
- Work history and education
- Client satisfaction on and off Fiverr
- Notable clients and experience with bigger businesses
- Communication in English or Spanish
Pro freelancers also have to keep delivering at that level to keep the badge.
The Fiverr Pro satisfaction guarantee
This is the biggest practical difference for buyers. On eligible orders from vetted Pro freelancers, you can ask Fiverr Customer Support to cancel the order within 14 days of completion if the delivery does not meet expectations.
- The refund is limited to the order amount.
- Approved refunds go to your Fiverr Pro balance for future orders.
- The guarantee does not apply to hourly orders.

Tip: review every delivered file as soon as it arrives. The 14-day window starts when the order is completed, not when you finally open the files.
Fiverr Pro vs Top Rated: what is the difference?
| Fiverr Pro | Top Rated Seller | |
|---|---|---|
| How you get it | Application, reviewed by Fiverr’s team | Earned through sales history, ratings and Fiverr’s performance metrics |
| What it proves | Professional experience and portfolio quality | Long, reliable track record on Fiverr |
| Buyer protection | Satisfaction guarantee on eligible orders | Standard Fiverr order protection |
| Typical prices | Higher, often agency-level | Wide range |
| Best for | Brand identity, websites, business-critical work | Clearly defined tasks with a proven seller |
The two badges are not exclusive. A seller can be both Pro and Top Rated, which is the strongest signal Fiverr offers.
Is Fiverr Pro worth it?
Yes, when the work is hard to redo: a logo and brand identity, a company website, a landing page you will spend ad money on, or anything where a bad result costs more than the price difference.
Probably not, when the task is small and easy to check, like resizing images, a quick banner or a simple vectorization. A Top Rated or Level 2 seller with good reviews on that exact gig is usually enough.
How to choose a Fiverr Pro seller
- Turn on the Pro filter in search.
- Open the exact gig and read the reviews on that gig, not only the profile total.
- Check that the package lists the deliverables you need, such as source files or pages.
- Message the seller before ordering and see how they answer.
